Orihuela Costa is served by the airports of Alicante-Elche (ALC) – 73 km* and Murcia-Corvera (RMU) – 51 km*. Despite the difference in distance, there is very little to choose between the two in travelling time due to the road network connecting to Orihuela Costa.

Alicante-Elche has regular scheduled daily flights to/from the major cities within Europe and further afield to Russia. Additionally it serves domestic destinations such as Madrid and Barcelona which connect to all major cities in the world.

Murcia-Corvera opened in January 2019 and has yet to establish itself as an alternative airport to Alicante-Elche for those visiting Orihuela Costa from other European countries.

All the main European low cost airlines operate scheduled flights to/from both Alicante-Elche and Murcia-Corvera, and additionally holiday charter flights frequent Alicante-Elche. Frequency and destination of flights is subject to seasonal adjustments.

Private airport transfers are available.

Public taxis are available outside the airport terminal.

A regular airport flyer bus directly links Alicante-Elche airport to the city of Torrevieja that borders the Orihuela Costa, where you can easily transfer to another bus or taxi for onward travel to the Orihuela Costa.
