La Fuente Commercial Centre, Campoamor

Commercial Centres

Throughout the Orihuela Costa you will find commercial centres, ranging in size from small to medium. These commercial centres are designed to serve the immediate residential area where they are located.

All of the commercial centres are designed to be a mix of retail, leisure and office units, and the majority will have small boutique shops with restaurants and bars.

Playa Flamenca Street Market

Street Markets

Throughout the year a weekly small street market is held in Cabo Roig every Thursday, and large market in Playa Flamenca every Saturday. Both markets provide the opportunity to purchase fresh produce, and you will find clothing and ornaments not found in regular shops.

The days of haggling a bargain in the markets have long disappeared. However, you will find that most stalls are replicated more than once in the markets, so if there is item you want to purchase check out the prices of the item on the other stalls first, as prices will vary.

Both the Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca markets are extremely busy all year round, and in the summer heat it can be uncomfortable, particularly at Cabo Roig because it is restricted by space.
